Mass found on my right ovary. So scared? - complex mass on ovary
I had an ultrasound and a miscarriage last week in transvaginal a mass found on the ovary. The doctor in the emergency room said it was seem to be a dermoid cyst and not affected. However, in the roles they gave me my gynecologist, who they identified as "a complex adnexal mass. Tomorrow I will see my gynecologist, but I am sick with worry. Anyone who has had similar experiences?

How old are you? When you're young enough, the chances that this is something serious like cancer is very low. Cysts are common and are always in the ovaries. "A complex adnexal mass is the medical terminology that may sound alarming than it actually is. My ovaries are full of cysts and all were benign. Do not worry. If there was something that is serious, we used to, a physician visit, which was on the same day or the next .... or referred to a specialist, while in the emergency room. Only the following protocol. Do not worry. I do not like. The doctor will have to be solved tomorrow and will probably say it is only a benign lesion.
Sorry for the loss of your child and I wish him all the best.
Although adnexal masses are, can cause serious, mild in most cases. Try not to worry too much, doctors have much more experience in the preliminary investigation of the things most of us try, as the confidence that the response of the emergency physician - nothing to worry - should sell. Definitely follow your OB / GYN 's recommendations for the assessment and treatment, but do not try to get a definitive answer to wound. Good luck, and I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage.
I worked in surgery for twenty years and my specialty was OB / GYN. I have participated in the removal of these masses. To facilitate your opinion, I suggest you see "A complex adnexal mass" on a health website. This will help you know the right questions to ask. Please let me know your result. Try not to fear.
If I were you, I would just wait and see what your doctor has to say about it. If the doctor in the emergency room had to worry about, then the answer could be. By the way, I'm sorry to hear that I had a miscarriage, she had carefully!
